PE is a polyethylene film, softer and more conformable than PET or BOPP. That conformability is the whole point: it wraps squeezable bottles and curved surfaces without lifting at the edges, and it moves with the container instead of fighting it.
Underneath it sits solvent acrylic adhesive. The liner is a glassine — a supercalendered paper with a dense, closed surface. Glassine releases cleanly at high converting speeds, it is the cheapest liner that does the job, and it is the default for roll-fed work.
This construction sits in the New Explore family, which we build for pilot and special projects, press to be confirmed. The family grouping is not marketing shorthand — it is how the topcoat is chosen.

Beverage lines mean water, ice and wash-down. A solvent acrylic system is chosen where the label has to hold through that, on glass and on PET bottles alike.
Small containers handled constantly, often stored in humid bathrooms. Solvent acrylic gives the grab and the durability that small-format cosmetic labelling depends on.
Where a label crosses a yard or sits on a pallet in the open for a few weeks, the solvent system is the more forgiving choice than a standard water-based one.
Solvent acrylic costs more than water-based. On a commodity label the premium buys nothing.
Where the adhesive odour has to be minimal, water-based is the easier specification.
PE film is soft and conformable, which suits squeezable containers, but it moves more than PET under tension. Confirm the die-cutting and dispensing set-up.
The New Explore series holds 3 constructions in our catalogue. They share the same facestock family, so the differences that matter are adhesive system and liner — and those two decide which jobs each code wins.

Buyers often ask the reverse question: the construction works, but the press changes. These are the codes in other families built on the same facestock type.
