Flexo labelstock — 124 measured data sheets

Our largest family: paper, thermal, PP, PE and PET constructions for flexo presses. This is where most shipping, logistics, food and volume labels in the catalogue are printed — and where getting the adhesive right matters most.

Choosing a flexo labelstock that behaves on your press

01

Match the material to the surface

Curved surfaces such as bottles, tubes and small-diameter vials need a soft face and high initial tack so the label conforms without lifting at the edges. Rough, dusty or condensation-wet surfaces need a heavier adhesive coat to reach the substrate at all.

02

Adhesive systems are not interchangeable

Our sheets distinguish permanent acrylic emulsion, hot-melt and removable grades. Hot-melt gives the highest initial tack at the lowest cost but has a narrower temperature window; acrylic emulsion trades some tack for UV, ageing and low-temperature performance.

03

Converting performance is a material property

Die-cutting, matrix stripping and register stability all depend on face stiffness and the release force between face and liner. A material that runs cleanly on one press can flutter on another at a different web speed.

How we engineer it

Why the same roll can behave differently on two presses

The release force between the face and the liner sets the usable tension window. Too high and the web drags, the register drifts and the die-cut position wanders at speed. Too low and the label lifts before it ever reaches the die. We publish the release force on the sheet so your converter can match it to unwind speed rather than guessing.

  • Release force — tuned to your unwind speed to remove web flutter
  • Stiffness — matched to die-cutting and matrix stripping
  • Caliper tolerance — held at ±5 % to keep register repeatable
